Position: Full time, avg. 40 hours per week (4 days on, 4 days off)
Salary: £34,000 + gratuities (see below for details)

About the Team
The heart of the guest experience at Skibo lies with our Front of House team. Known for their warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional service, this team plays a vital role in creating the magic our members return for time and again. As Assistant Front of House Manager, you'll be the welcoming face of the castle - building relationships, anticipating needs, and helping create moments that stay with our guests forever.
About this Role
As Assistant Front of House Manager, you will:
- Lead guest-facing areas, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth arrival, stay, and departure experience.
- Act as a consistent dutymanager, maintaininghigh standards and resolving issues across shifts.
- Oversee Front of House operations, procedures, and communication to ensure consistent service.
- Liaise with departments including Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Transport for seamless coordination.
- Manage occupancy, guest flow, and daily action plans.
- Administer Jonas/JAM systems, including training, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Refine arrival and billing procedures to improve clarity and guest satisfaction.
- Foster a sales-aware culture and encourage staff to identify revenue opportunities.
- Lead rotas, training, and inductions to support a flexible, high-performing team.
- Report on guest experience and FOH performance to senior management.
- Support team development, appraisals, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with our Events and Membership teams to align communication and logistics.
- Uphold estate-wide standards of health, safety, and presentation.
Who We Are Looking For
- You bring previous leadership experience in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting (Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge, or similar).
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a warm, professional manner.
- You can manage mulltiple priorities and have strong organisational skills.
- You’re confident using hospitality systems (e.g. Jonas/JAM) and data reporting tools.
- You have a natural focus on service excellence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- You’re experienced in managing teams, developing talent, and leading through example.
- You have a flexible and hands-on approach.
