Salary: £14.95 per hour (guaranteed minimum 4 hrs paid work) + gratuities (see below for details)

About the Team
Families are at the heart of The Carnegie Club experience. Children of all ages visit Skibo throughout the year, enjoying a dedicated space for activities as well as the freedom to explore our 8,000-acre estate.
Our Childcare team delivers unforgettable indoor and outdoor experiences - from bushcraft and baking to canoeing, treasure hunts, and seasonal events. During school holidays, the team hosts special family-friendly celebrations, while in the evenings, we offer a professional babysitting service that allows parents to relax, knowing their children are in safe hands.
About this Role
As a Babysitter you will:
- Work alongside our Childcare team to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
- Build friendly, trusting relationships with parents and carers, following instructions around routines, bedtime, allergies, or specific needs.
- Typically provide care during the evening within the family's accommodation on the estate. Your duties may include supervising dinner, bedtime routines, and ensuring a calm and secure atmosphere.
- Occasionally support themed activities or escort children during seasonal events (e.g., Easter, Halloween, Christmas) to help deliver fun and memorable experiences.
Who We Are Looking For
- You are 18 years or older.
- You're fun, friendly, approachable, and high-energy.
- You genuinely enjoy working with children and are committed to their wellbeing.
- You're comfortable supervising multiple children and managing their needs simultaneously.
- You're reliable, trustworthy, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and at short notice.
- You have relevant childcare experience (babysitting, childminding, nannying, etc.).

Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
