About the Role

A rare and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking HR department in one of the most exclusive private member clubs in the world.

The HR Assistant will support the People and Development Manager in the efficient running of the HR function, and acts as the first point of contact for all HR related queries from all employees across the estate.

Responsibilities

In this role you cover the full employee lifecycle across the estate, this includes the responsibility for delivering all aspects of HR administration, providing an efficient and effective service for the department and the organisation.

You will be responsible for delivering a pro-active resourcing support function. This will include dealing with end to end recruitment and onboarding. You will be devising and implementing a recruitment strategy that focuses on pro-active and direct recruitment. You will ensure all starters and leavers are processed correctly, administer employee benefits, coordinate training requirements and HR stats and data, and you keep the HR information systems up to date.

There is the opportunity to assist on exciting and innovative ad hoc project work, and you will have exposure to all aspects of HR. This is a challenging fast-paced role within a supportive team.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have a clear desire to build a career in Human Resources; will be self-motivated, organised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a proactive and flexible approach to work. A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential, along with a good sense of humour, team spirit and a passion for our industry.

The ideal candidate for this role has experience in a HR related environment with a recruitment background. This should, however, be underpinned with generalist HR experience. It is not necessary for you to be CIPD qualified but a CPP or equivalent would be beneficial.
