Night Porter

As a ‘front face’ of the Front of House department, the Night Porter forms an integral part of the guest experience. You work with the Night Supervisor ensuring the club’s security after the late Duty Manager has finished; in accordance with the Carnegie Club’s standards of procedure and its health and safety policy.

Responsibilities

You assist guests and provide requested services if and when required, like late night bar service, room service, set up of breakfast buffet, set up of any conference or breakfast rooms. You work alongside the Night Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of the Club and carry out switch duties after the late night receptionist has finished.

Required Skills and Experience

You have had the opportunity to gain experience in a customer service-oriented environment, you may even have worked in a 4/5* hotel background or similar. You are discreet, reliable and responsible, and you stay calm under pressure. You like to work in a team and you can work unsupervised and use your own initiative. As this role involves driving on the Estate, you must have a valid driving licence.
