About the Team
The Brand team integrates brand development, content creation, communications, and partnerships to deliver a unified and strategic market presence. Through this cohesive approach, the team builds trust and loyalty while safeguarding the exclusivity and prestige of the Club.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Brand and Content Executive to support the wider Brand team at Skibo with all marketing support activities. The role involves a wide variety of projects including copywriting for emails, blog posts, and internal comms, as well as digital asset creation, social media support, and marketing administration tasks. This role will see you collaborating with numerous departments across the Club, and as such you will enjoy a hands-on approach to projects, get to know our people, and learn about the many different facets that define The Carnegie Club.
About this Role
As Brand and Content Executive you will:
- Write copy across a variety of touchpoints, including regular member emails, blog posts, the Skibo Daily News, event programmes, posters, and social media content.
- Assist with updating both the members' website and the public website with new content, blog posts, copy changes, etc.
- Update digital and printed Club brochures and collateral.
- Assist with social media content creation and support with managing social channels.
- Write copy for and create posters, programmes, and in-house collateral as required using Canva and the Adobe suite as the primary design tools.
- Support with managing the Club image library and photography.
- Assist with the department's projects as appropriate
- Support departments across the Club in creating magical moments for members and guests, from bespoke cocktail menus for a private dinner to special invitations for birthday gatherings.
Who We Are Looking For
- With a high standard of written English and proof-reading skills, you are able to communicate effectively and effortlessly with colleagues, members, and guests.
- You have a way with words and can craft blog posts, social captions, content, and calls to action with ease.
- You have an eye for design and can spot what looks right and what doesn't.
- You're a strong communicator who is able to engage with members, guests, colleagues, and brand partners in a professional and friendly manner to find and disseminate the information needed to support Club operations.
- You're confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You're confident using Canva. Proficiency with Lightroom/Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Google Analytics, and MODX are beneficial but not essential – a willingness to learn is more important!
- You're a motivated and adaptable team player who enjoys working with others and takes pride in contributing to the achievements of departments across the business.
- You can work at pace and troubleshoot and problem-solve with ease.
Gratuities
Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
