About Skibo
The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle is a world-renowned private members club situated in the Scottish Highlands. One of the most exclusive destinations worldwide, Skibo offers members and their guests a taste of true Highland hospitality with stunning surroundings and luxury facilities. Whether your passion lies in food preparation, fine wines, guest service or country sports, as a team member of one of The Carnegie Club's 20+ departments, you will be part of a fantastic group of people who share the same passion for delivering the very best.
About the Team
Families are at the heart of The Carnegie Club, with children of all ages visiting Skibo throughout the year. While a dedicated space is available for children's activities, the fun extends far beyond its walls. With 8,000 acres of stunning Highland estate as their playground, our childcare team creates unforgettable indoor and outdoor experiences.
Each day, our dedicated team leads supervised activities across the estate - from bushcraft and baking to painting, canoeing, swimming, and treasure hunts – ensuring that every child enjoys an adventure-filled stay.
During school holidays, the team plays a key role in delivering special events designed for families to enjoy together. In the evenings, a babysitting service allows parents to unwind over dinner with fellow members, knowing their little ones are in the care of our friendly and professional staff.
About the Role
As a Children's Activities Coordinator you will:
- Lead and engage with children in enjoyable, age-appropriate activities while supporting staff in delivering exceptional care.
- Organise babysitting services, plan engaging events, and ensure a well-stocked environment for creative and outdoor play.
- Conduct risk assessments, uphold safeguarding policies, and maintain Care Inspectorate standards.
- Oversee performance, training, scheduling, and communication within the team.
- Maintain records, manage supply inventories, coordinate guest requests, and liaise with other departments for seamless service.
- Ensure equipment safety, supervise outdoor activities, and adapt play based on weather conditions.
