About the role
We pride ourselves on providing a highly personalised standard of service and by doing so, set ourselves apart from other clubs and hotels.
In this role, you will enjoy spending a great deal of time interacting with our members and guests and it is therefore important that you have strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills. Vibrant, engaging, warm, enthusiastic and passionate, you will love being around people and delivering exceptional experiences. We are continuously looking to revise and enhance our existing offerings through member relations, operational improvements, experience enhancements, and events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Front of House team and the Member Liaison team, you'll operate across all areas of our estate to ensure that our members have the best possible experience during their stay with us.
- You'll meet and greet individuals and ensure appropriate contact in a friendly and unobtrusive way so that all needs are anticipated and catered for.
- You'll support our 'Heaven on Earth' maxim by providing services that go above and beyond the standard for member and guest satisfaction.
- You'll lead by example by displaying outstanding hospitality skills whilst remaining authentic and completely personable.
- Always looking to improve our member and guest satisfaction, you'll participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to this end.
- You'll regularly host formal dinners, ensuring to the best of your ability that all members and guests are enjoying their evenings.
- You'll engage in written communications with members and guests using appropriate style with excellent grammar and spelling. This also extends to internal communications via email.
- Whilst there is no direct line management responsibility within this role, you will interact significantly across all departments and are therefore able to spot and celebrate successes and contributions of your fellow team members.

About gratuities & service charge
- Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to room rates and other services at the Club that is passed directly to staff) are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
- It is estimated that in 2024, full-time staff can expect to receive around £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.
